Vision Train Shop Artist Invitation

We are creating a space where original artwork created in resonance with the Vision Train can be shared around the globe — through stickers, posters, and other print-on-demand goods — while continuing to support the artists and the ecosystem.

THIS IS AN INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE. 
Artists retain full ownership of their work. Vision Train manages production, fulfillment, and the shop infrastructure.

What We're Looking For:

We welcome original artwork that emerges from Vision Train sessions or the broader community and reflects the spirit of the Train.

Artwork that includes or is inspired by "Train" imagery, symbolism, or metaphor. Also art that's created "On the Train"!

Technical Requirements

To ensure high-quality reproduction across all product types, please submit files that meet the following specifications.

  • File Format


    PNG or JPG preferred. TIFF also accepted for maximum quality.

  • Resolution


    Minimum 300 DPI to ensure crisp, professional print reproduction.

  • File Size


    At least 5,000 pixels on the longest side.

Use of Artwork & Design Adaptations

  • Use of Artwork


    Artists grant Vision Train a non-exclusive license to reproduce and sell the submitted artwork through the Vision Train Shop and for promotional purposes.

    Artists retain full copyright ownership of their work at all times.

  • Special Collections


    At times, Vision Train may create themed collections or special releases. Artists may be invited to participate and may optionally choose to contribute their share of proceeds for specific initiatives.

    Removal Rights

    Artists may request removal of their work at any time which will be honored within 30 days of being received.

  • Design Adaptations


    To support different product formats, Vision Train may:

    • Adjust cropping or layout
    • Place artwork within templates
    • Add minimal design elements such as borders, background treatments, or small text

      For certain products, Vision Train may request permission to incorporate simple text elements such as "Vision Train."

Your artwork can appear across a range of beautiful, tangible products. Artists may indicate preferences or opt out of specific product types.

    Default Structure:     50% to the artist · 50% to Vision Train

    Net profit is calculated after production costs + platform fees and payment processing fees.

  • Flexible Contribution Options


    This allows each artist to participate in a way that feels aligned with their values:

    • Receive full artist share (default)

    • Donate a percentage of earnings to Vision Train

    • Donate 100% of earnings

  • Payments


    Payments will be disbursed on a monthly basis or once earnings reach $50, payable by ACH Direct Transfer, Paypal, or Wise.

    Artists are responsible for providing accurate payment details and handling any applicable taxes.

Artist Visibility & Promotion

Artist credit will be included wherever possible. Participating artists are featured across all Vision Train channels and touchpoints.

    Your artwork is featured in the Vision Train Shop with full artist attribution.

  • Social Media


    Work is shared across Vision Train's social platforms and artist network, reaching the broader community.

  • Newsletter Features


    Selected artists are spotlighted in the Vision Train newsletter sent to subscribers.

How it works

  • Submit Your Artwork

    You submit your artwork for free through a short, straightforward form.

  • Team Review

    The Vision Train team reviews submissions for quality and alignment & archives all submissions.

  • Notification

    -------------------------
    If your submission is selected, you will be notified directly to sign your formal licensing agreement.

  • Product Testing

    -------------------------
    Artwork is applied to specific products and you receive a link to order test products.

  • Listed for Sale

    -------------------------
    If the test is successful, the item is listed for sale in the shop.

  • Revenue Shared

    -------------------------
    When items sell, revenue is shared between the artist and Vision Train.

Vision Train handles listing creation, management and fulfillment. 
We only ask that artists share in the responsibility of product testing, share and promote products from Vision Train Shop, and attend one monthly meeting to support continued alignment & momentum.

How to participate

The Vision Train Shop is designed to be experimental, iterative and co-creative.
It is not only a place to remind ourselves and the world of the value of art, but also a way to support the expansion of our shared creative ecosystem.
