f you’ve spent time on the Vision Train, you’ve probably crossed paths with Abra. 🚂✨
She hosts the Slightly Quiet Crafty Car, a gentle and welcoming weekday art jam where artists gather to create, connect, or simply share space together. Her trips carry the same energy she does — warm, playful, heartfelt, and deeply human - click here to RSVP and Participate - https://visiontrainstation.mn.co/events

Abra’s journey to the Train came through profound loss and years of isolation after the passing of her son. Over time, creativity became a path back toward connection — with herself, with others, and with life again.
Since stepping aboard the Vision Train, Abra committed to a daily painting practice and has continued expanding her creative world through watercolor, acrylic, oil painting, crochet, jewelry making, and more. She also volunteers at a large animal rescue and creates artwork honoring her missing friend and neighbor Donna, using art as a way to hold hope and awareness.
What makes Abra so special is the tenderness and authenticity she brings into every space she enters. And her story reflects something we witness again and again on the Vision Train: people reconnecting to themselves through creativity, presence, and community.
