This Saturday, the Vision Train will be making a special stop in Xilitla, Mexico, as we live stream Visionary Voices: Echoes of the Inner Worlds directly from the Leonora Carrington Museum.
Curated and hosted by Lety Blanco, this gathering brings together visionary artists, researchers, and cultural explorers for a day of presentations and dialogue centered around imagination, dreams, symbolism, and the evolving role of visionary art in contemporary culture. Set within a museum dedicated to the legacy of surrealist artist Leonora Carrington and inspired by the creative spirit of Edward James, the event takes place in a landscape where art, myth, and nature converge. The museum itself serves as a center for the study and dissemination of surrealism, carrying forward the artistic legacy of Carrington and her connection to Xilitla.
Featured speakers include visionary artist Amanda Sage, painter Carrie Ann Baade, and psychedelic researcher Mario Alonso Onerios, each offering unique perspectives on symbolic language, intuition, dreams, and the visionary lineage that continues to inspire artists around the world.
