"EnCompass" is a series of 13 Creative Geometry drawing workshops designed to teach you basic geometric constructions, which form the basis of Sacred Geometry (creative energy patterns found in Nature). Each session is focused on drawing a different geometric pattern or template. Once you’ve sketched the basic template, you are invited to infuse the drawing with your creative spirit, exercise editorial and intentional decision-making, and intuitively elaborate on the possibilities that emerge. No math required! Our drawings are based on the principles Pure Geometry (using a compass and straight edge - no measurements or calculations). This engages the right hemisphere of the brain (intuition, creativity, spatial reasoning), rather than the logical left brain. As a studio practice, Creative Geometry is a hands-on, whole-brain exploration of visual harmony, natural law, and multidimensional structure. For 13 lunar months, Creative Geometry will be offered every New Moon. This means each workshop will be ruled by a different zodiac sign, which will loosely determine that month's geometric tutorial and resonant theme. New Moons represent new beginnings, a time of rest and reflection, releasing the past and setting new goals. Through creative ritual and circular drawing, we'll attune to the rhythm of the lunar cycle, honor seasonal completions, and set intentions for the next "moonth."
